Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward to in the First Half of 2017

Omg, such a hard decision because there are so many good ones! But thankfully, I only have to focus on the first half. 😉

This is a mix of debut authors, sequels, and well-seasoned authors but all of them sound truly amazing! I can’t wait to get my hands on all of them, and thanks to my local library who has done a fantastic job getting newly released YA books, I won’t have to spend a fortune! ^_^

These are 2nd book in series, though I believe A Crown of Wishes is the final book in the two-book series by Roshani Chokshi, which began with The Star-Touched Queen. Rise of Fire is the second book in the Reign of Shadows series. Our Dark Duet follows This Savage Song.

I’m giving Renee Ahdieh another shot because Flame in the Mist sounds absolutely amazing! I didn’t like her first series, The Wrath and the Dawn. I’ve been tempted lately to finish the series since there’s only one more book but meh, I disliked the first book so much that I can’t bring myself to do it. Carve the Mark also has a lot of hype around it and, like Flame in the Mist, I’m excited for it. It’s not that I didn’t like Roth’s Divergent series but I disliked the ending.

Here are some debuts authors for next year. If you have the chance, check out these books on Goodreads! They all sound amazing, and I’m pretty sure I will be very broke next year with all these new books. I’ll look towards my local library in hopes they will have these on their shelves.

Look at those covers! Truthfully, all the covers for the books in this post are beautiful! There’s a lot of hype around Caraval, and I’m hoping for a The Night Circus vibe because I really loved that book. Blood Rose Rebellion takes place in Victorian times and we all know how much I enjoy that! Also, that cover, too!

Are any of these books on your TBR for next year? Don’t forget to share your TTT and I’ll check it out! 🙂
