Per usual, I’m always late to post my book hauls. 😂 But hey, something is better than nothing, right? (At least, that’s what they say…)
July was a pretty decent month for me. I was on summer vacation, and I also went on vacation (I might blog about that soon…), so while I was able to read for most of the day, I also didn’t read for nearly an entire week. 😅 Anyway… On to what’s important!
Here’s this month’s book haul! (HALP!)
So there’s the thing: There was a sale on BookOutlet in June. I bought 13 books for around $55, which is really a steal since most of them are hardcover books. Anyway, the books didn’t arrive until the first week of July so I included it in July’s book haul even though I ordered them in June. Hehe. I also did this fun, rainbow-ish picture which looks beautiful on my IG, if I do say so myself. 😜
Now onto the wrap-up!
The only book missing here is Tash Hearts Tolstoy which was a library book that I had to turn in before I could take this picture! In all, I read 8 books, which is fairly good when I normally do 5-6 a month. I’m more than halfway through my Goodreads goal of 90 books for this year, too!
The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman – ★★★★
A Thousand Nights by E.K. Johnston – ★★
Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore (audiobook) – ★★★
Noteworthy by Riley Redgate – ★★★★ 1/2
Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab – ★★★★
The Dark Days Pact by Alison Goodman – ★★★★★
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (reread) – ★★★★
Throne of Glass was a reread in prep for Tower of Dawn which releases on September 5th. (Have you pre-ordered yet? If you do, you can submit your receipt for some pre-order swag here!) I plan to re-read up to Queen of Shadows. Crossing my fingers I can do it!
My favorite reads last month were Noteworthy, The Dark Days Club, and its sequel, The Dark Days Pact. I devoured those books! I can’t believe I haven’t heard more about Noteworthy or that I waited so long to read TDDC and TDDP!
I’m not sure how well I’ll do this month (August). I returned to work right at the end of July, and I’ve been fairly busy (new school year and all). But audiobooks have helped so much with my reading goal, so I hope to continue trekking through! 🙂
How was your book haul or wrap-up? Link them down below and I’ll be sure to check them out! ^_^
Awesome book haul! I need to do an August book haul. I keep seeing all these fun BookHaul posts! Thanks for sharing!
