June ’18 Wrap-up and Book Haul!

I think I’m s l o w l y making my way back into blogging, but just–erm, S L O W L Y as I said before. Since I’m on summer break, I’ve already got a few blog posts in mind, along with a schedule as well, so we’ll see how this month goes. πŸ™‚

But that also means I have time to post a wrap-up and book haul for June! I can’t remember if I posted one for May but… It’s too late for that now, lol.

June was a fairly mild month for me. I read my usual average number (6), but because my priority hasn’t been blogging, I find that I’m able to enjoy books now that I somehow don’t feel obligated to post reviews on them anymore (unless they’re ARCS, of course).

I did mini reviews on most of these books, but I’ll link full reviews where I can. πŸ™‚

Legendary (eARC) by Stephanie Garber –Β β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…
A Reaper at the Gates (ARC) by Sabaa Tahir –Β β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…
Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier –Β β˜…β˜…β˜…
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon –Β β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…
Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi –Β β˜…β˜…β˜… 1/2
The Smoke Thieves (ARC) by Sally Green –Β β˜…β˜…

My favorite read for June was definitely A Reaper at the Gates!

Now here’s the fun part about June’s book haul. I only bought 3 books! The rest were sent to me.

Here’s the stackΒ  I won from a giveaway back in April, which finally arrived a couple of weeks ago: (A huge thanks to Sourcebooks Fire!)

This one was sent to me last week:

Now you must be wondering the same thing I am: Nicole, do you have room for all these books on your shelves? And the answer is a resounding NO. Sadly, I have run out of shelf space. So my goal for July is to read the books that are on my shelves, and if I don’t like it, I’ll trade/sell/donate it.

So here’s to July and a for sure good reading month! πŸ™‚

Reaper is my favorite June read too!! That series continues to blow me away! Idk if you remember me, but we met at NTTBF back in April and we talked while I stalked Sabaa Tahir’s line πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I also no longer have shelf space! Lol
