This is such a fun topic! There are so many books I’d like to reread, and to name just 5… Whew! 😅
Top 5 Wednesday is hosted over on Goodreads. You can check out August topics and stay up-to-date here.
I absolutely fell in love with these two books the first time I read them. I read P&P for the first time when I was in high school, and while I’d been a pretty good reader up until then, I became a voracious reader afterward. I used to own all of Austen’s works, but I had an fire a while back and they were destroyed. I haven’t bothered to replace them, unfortunately. There are so many editions though! How do I choose?
It’s been a while since I reread this series, but I know my love for it remains true. I listened to the audiobooks a few years back (up to GoF) but haven’t returned. With the illustrated editions coming out, that’s how I wanted to reread them. They’re simply beautiful.
I know I’m probably cheating a bit (because I know for sure I’ll reread this series before The Dark Days Deceit releases in November) but that doesn’t diminish my complete and utter love for this series. Lots of good slow burn romance, which is my all-time favorite! (You can check out my review for book 1 and book 2 if you need convincing. 🙂 )
Futuristic Korea? Sign me up (again)! I absolutely loved this book, and to know it’s getting a sequel makes me incredibly happy! This is the first book I read with an all-Korean cast that takes place in…Korea! I can’t wait to see what Oh has in store for the second book! (You can read my review for this book here.)
Well, I did one more than necessary (sort of, haha), but I could go on! There’s some books I recently reread (Red Queen, An Ember in the Ashes, Flame in the Mist) due to the sequels releasing, and I found it incredibly joyous because I didn’t feel completely lost in the world after months of not reading it. I definitely feel like revisiting favorites can feel the same as well. 🙂
Feel free to drop your T5W posts in the comments, and I’ll be sure to check them out!
I’m definitely getting the Harry Potter bug with everything coming from from Harry Potter day yesterday. I might need to re-read those books soon. :p

They’re so nostalgic! My oldest niece is reading them, and I almost want to read them with her. Hehe.

I periodically re-read the Harry Potter series as well. Always something new to discover. 😊
