Y’all! Are you ready for this?
BECAUSE I TOTALLY WASN’T!
I normally don’t recap cover reveals, but I couldn’t help myself with this one (or even Goo’s previous book, The Way You Make Me Feel)!
I really enjoy Goo’s works. I like to think I’m a decent advocate of diverse works, especially those by fellow Koreans. I was lucky enough to read an ARC of I Believe in a Thing Called Love and participate it the book blog tour for The Way You Make Me Feel. While I don’t think I’ll get that lucky with Somewhere Only We Know, we can still take a moment to admire this colorful and diverse cover.
Are you ready?
I want to grab this book through my screen and add it to my shelves. It’s beautiful!
If you don’t know about SOWK, check out the short synopis (via Goodreads) below:
Pitched as a modern-day Roman Holiday set in Hong Kong, the book follows one fateful day between a K-Pop star who’d like to be anyone else and the charming con-boy she meets, who’s looking for a big break to impress his paparazzo father. When sparks ignite, the two must decide if they can risk it all for each other.
Have you seen Roman Holiday? It’s really cute, too. I don’t really care for older movies very much, but I definitely enjoyed watching this one (and ought to watch it again so I can have all the ~right~ vibes for Goo’s new book).
Besides a glorious cover, we also have a release date: May 7, 2019!
You can read an excerpt from the book and read the full cover reveal (without all my squealing) over at Bustle!
