In case you didn’t realize… We have 2 months until 2020! Does this mean I can start counting down until my birthday? LOL
With end of another month comes another wrap-up and book haul. Despite my complete lack of motivation when it comes to blogging and bookstagramming, I somehow have all the motivation and desire to read! Is that even surprising?
The wrap-up:
Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco (audiobook) – ★★★★
Legend by Marie Lu (audiobook) – ★★★★
Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin – ★★★ 1/2
Fireborne by Rosario Munda (eARC) – ★★★★ 1/2
The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman – ★★★★
Prodigy by Marie Lu (audiobook) – ★★★★
Five Dark Fates by Kendare Blake (audiobook) – ★★★★
Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo – ★★ 1/2
The Right Swipe by Alisha Rai – ★★★
This wasn’t a bad reading month at all. Legend and Prodigy were rereads in prep for Rebel. I still hope to get through Champion, though I don’t think that’ll happen next month. Audiobooks and library books were totally my friends this month!
This month’s book haul was more than I thought it would. I forgot I got OwlCrate’s October box which contained two books (which I won’t show because it may be possible not everyone’s received their OwlCrate yet).
I found the FairyLoot edition of Nocturna for a complete bargain at my local used bookstore. I bought the Target edition of Ninth House, and when I was traveling a few weeks ago, I went to a local bookstore and found a signed copy of The Beautiful. I’m really excited to read this, though I have a love/dislike relationship with Ahdieh’s books.
How was your reading in October? Did you read more or less than what you wanted? Let me know how you did in the comments.
I hope you enjoy The Beautiful because I looooved it!
