Oh man, it’s that time again! Which also means… It’s December! How?! Where did the time go? What am I going to do for the rest of 2019? (The answer: read.)
First, we have the wrap-up!
Champion by Marie Lu (reread, audiobook) – ★★★★
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne – ★★ 1/2
Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren – ★★★ 1/2
Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner (audiobook) – ★★★
Gravemaidens by Kelly Coon (eARC) – ★
The Chai Factor by Farah Heron – ★★
Rebel by Marie Lu – ★★★★
Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker and Wendy Xu – ★★★★★
Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert – ★★★★★
My favorites this month were definitely Rebel, Mooncakes, and Get a Life, Chloe Brown.
Now for the book haul! Which… I didn’t realize I had gotten so many books this month until I put them all together… Oops!
Okay, look, there were coupons and sales! And I also had to support my local indie bookstores on Shop Small Saturday (the Saturday after Black Friday).
I also unhauled books in November.
I know you’re probably thinking, “Nicole, did you haul Ninth House last month?” It’s true. I did but I didn’t like the book enough to keep it. The same goes for the rest of these books. Unhauling means I make more room on my shelves, right?
There are some HOT TAKES on this list 👀👀👀
