February ’20 Wrap-up and Book Haul!

I didn’t realize I hadn’t even started this post so let’s take care of that right now! 😛 Sorry for the delay considering it’s already mid-March!

First we have the wrap-up:

Whew! A whole 8 books this month! Filled with audiobooks, ARCs, and physical books.

Storm from the East by Joanna Hathaway (eARC) – ★★★★
The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkokski (ARC) – ★★★★★
The Shattered World by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner (audiobook) – ★★★★ 1/2
The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu (ARC) – ★★★ 1/2
Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner (audiobook) – ★★★★
Anna K by Jenny Lee (eARC) – ★ 1/2
Renegades by Marissa Meyer – ★★★★
The Princess and the Fangirl by Ashley Poston (audiobook) – ★★★★

Obviously I have some favorites for the month of February! 😛 But in no particular order they are The Midnight LieStorm from the East, and Their Fractured Light.

I went to pick up my order of Tweet Cute from my local indie bookstore and couldn’t resist these other beauties! I’ve read both There’s Something about Sweetie and Capturing the Devil. I enjoyed them both, and am so happy to have them on my shelves! 🙂

Oh, just wait to see what my book haul will be like in March. My reaction when I see it all add up:

usagi surprise

Oops. 😅😅 Granted I did attend the North Texas Teen Book Festival earlier this month where managed to get a few ARCs but also bought some books as well because there were authors where whose signed books I couldn’t resist AT ALL.

Until next month…

Thank you! To be honest, I was hesitant to read it because while it takes places in the same universe as The Winner’s trilogy, that book series holds such a special place in my heart! I’m really glad I liked it, too. There was a really nice plot twist toward the end, so I’m excited to see how the next book will play out.
