Yes, oh my gosh, we made it through the first half of 2020! It’s been…a trip to say the least, lol! I’m so excited to talk about the books I’m excited about! I know it’s been crazy with the pandemic pushing back release dates, but I’m eager to read them all the same.
Releasing in July:
Unravel the Dusk is the sequel to Spin the Dawn, which I really enjoyed when I read it last year. I’m so in love with the covers of both of those books. Splinters of Scarlet was put back on my radar when I did another T10T post a few weeks ago, and has comp titled like Enchantée and Downton Abbey.
Releasing in August:
First off, let’s take a moment to admire these covers! 😍 Aren’t they so beautiful?! I absolutely love seeing Korean words on the cover of Vicious Spirits, which is the sequel to Wicked Fox. I’m excited to dive back into that world as well.
Releasing in September:
More beautiful covers!! 😍😍 I’m thrilled about the new Kaufman and Spooner book. I discovered Legendborn not too long ago, and HELLO, another Marie Lu book?! Insta-buy!!
Releasing in October:
Yes, another Kerri Maniscalco book! And it’s historical fiction, and it just sounds splendid! Let me just plug in the synopsis for y’all.
“Emilia and her twin sister Victoria are streghe – witches who live secretly among humans, avoiding notice and persecution. One night, Victoria misses dinner service at the family’s renowned Sicilian restaurant. Emilia soon finds the body of her beloved twin…desecrated beyond belief. Devastated, Emilia sets out to discover who did this, and to seek vengeance at any cost—even if it means using dark magic that’s been long forbidden.
Then Emilia meets Wrath, the outlier among the seven demon brethren, always choosing duty over pleasure. He’s been tasked by his master with investigating a series of women’s murders on the island. When Emilia and Wrath’s fates collide, it’s clear this disturbing mystery will take a bewitching turn…”
There’s also a pre-order campaign for the book. You can check it out and submit your receipt here.
Releasing in December:
Y’all, I can’t believe it! The end of An Ember in the Ashes will be here in 6 months! I love this series so much and recommend it all the time! I absolutely cannot wait to read this finale, but I’m equally scared as well. (So what’s new?)
What books are you excited about that release later this year? Let me know in the comments, or link me to your T10T!
