WWW Wednesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words. In this post I will answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Happy almost-end of August, friends! Is it just me or did this month go by quickly? That’s not really important, but whatever. I have to ask because I feel like I’ve finally gotten a better grasp of time. I’m sure returning to work has helped, but it also makes me nervous.
What are you currently reading?
I’m rereading (listening via audiobook) The Gilded Wolves in prep for reading an ARC of The Silvered Serpents. I forgot how much fun this book is, and I’m noticing things during this re-read I didn’t notice before. Isn’t that how it always is?
I put The Year of the Witching on hold at the library and picked it up last weekend. I’m not very far into it so I can’t give much of an opinion yet, but it’s really engrossing. The reviews are good for it so I’m crossing my fingers.
What did you recently finish reading?
Unfortunately I didn’t like these books as much as I thought I would. Those covers really draw you in though. My review of The Betrothed will be up tomorrow, so if you’re interested, I’d love for you to check it out.
What do you think you’ll read next?
*stares at the books from the library, ARCs, and eARCS*
Okay, so I thought I had some order to the books I plan on reading but to be honest, I don’t really have a clue. So, let’s just take a casual approach to what I’ll read next:
So…yeah. Hello eARCs and physical books. The library has been a great friend to me during the pandemic since I haven’t been buying many, if any, books. I’m excited for all of these books, so I can’t wait to finally dive into them.
How about y’all? What are you currently reading? I’d love to know everything in the comments!
