Top 10 Tuesday: Books on My Fall TBR

A weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Today officially marks the start of fall! Let’s be honest, with the complete crap show that is 2020, I’m just ready for this year to be over.

I’ve said over and over again that I don’t necessarily make TBRs because I’m often a mood reader, so this list is definitely in limbo. 😅

I’m going to start off with some digital and physical ARCs:

Hush and A Golden Fury release in October, while Super Fake Love Song and These Violent Delights release in November. Also, can I take a second to say I love these covers?!

I don’t know if you feel the same way, but I just feel obligated to include ARCs on this list because I know I will read them before the release date in order to review them here on my blog. 😛

I’m determined not to allow a lot of time to pass before I read sequels or finales in a book series. Lately, I don’t mind rereading the previous books in series because I like for things to be fresh on my mind. Audiobooks have helped me so much in rereading, too. Though… It’s not like we have an idea when the final book of the Red Rising series will release but I haven’t read Dark Age yet even though it’s been out for a year and I was adamant about reading it as soon as it released. Oops… 😅

I’m putting this out there in the universe… These last two books are ones that have been on my TBR (according to Goodreads) for the longest. So… I’m going to try to read them. Please tell future Nicole not to request digital ARCs via NetGalley!

I added both of these books on my TBR back in 2016. I even own physical copies of these books. But like any bookworm, they’ve been pushed back and back and back as I discover new books! No longer, Nicole! You will read these books this fall! (Or…so I hope.)

What does your fall TBR look like? How do you determine your TBR? Do you stick to it? Help me, wise ones!

  1. We Write at Dawn says:

These Violent Delights is on my TBR too! I just finished Hush and liked it and I’m hoping to start The Golden Flame soon. And I’m the same way with sequels. I either read them immediately or they end up on the TBR for years, like Supernova. Sometimes I just don’t want to have a series end – it’s so hard to say goodbye. Love this post btw!
