Happy almost end of September! 🤯 I can’t believe we’re so close to October! Spooky season is upon us soon! 🎃

Anyway, surely you’re not here to listen to me talk always talk about how close we are to the end of 2020. It’s been a wild ride to say the least.

What are you currently reading?

I’ve had an eARC of Shine sitting on my e-reader for some time now. The book released yesterday! I’m about 3/4 of the way through and I like it so far. There are a few things I don’t really care for, and I think there needs to be content warnings because this book mentions strict dieting and maintaining weight in order to stay within the trainee program. A character also got drugged and somehow it isn’t a super big issue. Anyway, I hope to post my review of it next week once I finish it.

I’m listening to LIFEL1K3 on audiobook, and it’s narrated by the same voice actor whose done the Illuminae Files and the Aurora Cycle. I’m also enjoying this book, and find the concept really interesting!

Knocked out a few books these past couple of weeks, which is really a miracle since September has me in a bit of a reading slump. If you missed my reviews of two out of three of these, you can find them here and here. These three books were fairly underwhelming in their own ways, but TSS came out on top simply because I love the series so much.

I’m determined to clear some books from my shelves on NetGalley, and these are the three that are releasing in October. I’m excited for all of them!
