Another month gone! Just three more months and we’ll be out of this crazy year that is 2020.
September was a slower reading month for me than usual. I fell into a bit of a reading slump, and didn’t want to do much outside of watch Netflix. π

There were definitely a few disappointing reads this month. I expected to like TSS a lot more (not saying I hated it but definitely hope it would earn a 4-star rating); HoI and SFttG were also books I wanted to love more but simply didn’t.
Book haul:
I read an ARC of The Silence of Bones and loved it, so when my local indie had a copy of it, I knew I had to get it. I bought the Barnes and Noble edition of Cemetery Boys, which has exclusive gold foiling on the front of the hardcover. I also purchased a copy of The Inheritance Games from my local indie because the author is local to my area, and I received a signed book plate, so that was pretty cool. π There Will Come a Darkness was on sale, and sales always get me so alas…
I hope y’all had a good September. If you read anything good, let me know in the comments.

I’m so glad you enjoyed Beach Read, I haven’t heard a single negative thing about that book πβ¨ππ»

Oh I’m sad you didn’t like Heart of Iron. That is one of my favorites and I love Ashley Poston. I have There Will Come a Darkness on my TBR because it came in an Owlcrate.

I loved her Once Upon a Con series, so I was disappointed when I didn’t like this one. Alas, you can’t like them all.
