Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s Thanksgiving week here in the U.S. of A and while it’s incredibly different from ones in the past, I think it’s still a good time to reflect on the past year and literally just how crazy everything has been.
I also have this strange feeling that I’ve written a post like this before but I can’t seem to find it… So I’m sorry if these books are repeats!
This might just be more of a “Books I Loved” post but… We’ll see where the wind takes me. 😜
You know what I love? Books written by Kor-Am authors with Kor-Am characters being their true authentic selves! (Okay, The Silence of Bones may be an exception since it’s a historical fiction but…) On that note, as a lover of historical fiction, I really had no choice but to fall in love with Hur’s atmospheric writing. I can’t wait to see what else these authors will bring to the table.
If y’all follow me on IG, you may have noticed that during this pandemic, I may or may not have gotten a little crazy about The Phantom of the Opera. The 25th anniversary production has been living in my brain rent-free since it first streamed in April. It reignited my love for the show, so much so that I finally decided to actually read the book (😅) along with the YA retelling RoseBlood and the wonderful graphic novel of the same title. I can’t be the only one with a comfort fandom, right? You know, one of those you can turn to or watch/read a limitless amount of times and still be happy? Yep, that’s me and Phantom.
Okay… So yeah, this has become of those “favorite books of the year” posts. I’m so sorry but what a comfort books have been this year! And I found a few of my absolute favorites, too! Incendiary blew me away! ACSDaL is the Beauty and the Beast retelling I didn’t know I needed. The Midnight Lie is the delicate but fierce book I didn’t know I need. More Than Maybe is a book Teen Me would have loved.
What books are you thankful for this year? If you posted about this week’s T10T, leave your link in the comments and I’ll be sure to check it out!
I won’t be posting again until next week due to the holidays. Thanks for sticking with me!

I loved both All Be the One and More Than Maybe. Those are great books to be thankful for this year.
