Oops. Is it almost April and I forgot to write this post? …Maybe. For some reason I thought I already had? I don’t know what’s going on with my brain… 😛
Check out the previous months’ wrap-up and book haul:
As always, the wrap-up is first.
The Wallflower Wager (Girl Meets Duke #3) by Tessa Dare – ★★★ 1/2
Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade – ★★★★
Flamefall (The Aurelian Cycle #2) by Rosaria Munda (eARC) – ★★★★
We Free the Stars (Sands of Arawiya #2) by Hafsah Faizal – ★★★★
Dark Age (Red Rising #6) by Pierce Brown (audiobook) – ★★★★
The Duke and I (Bridgertons #1) by Julia Quinn – ★★★ 1/2
Dark of the West (Glass Alliance #1) by Joanna Hathaway (reread) – ★★★★
Looking at this altogether, I had a decent amount of 4 stars reads, which is ra bit surprising. I think March was definitely a slow reading month. Truthfully, it’s been…almost a whole month later, so I can’t say I remember a lot of but I just remember feeling a bit…meh. Now that we’re almost done with April, too, I feel a bit of the same. I do this myself, really, so… Yeah.
Now the book haul:
Can we talk about the two Phantom of the Opera-inspired retellings and how thick Rule of Wolves is?! Also, it’s SO SHINY.
I hope y’all had a good reading month and are currently having a good one for April! Remember it’s not a race but to enjoy everything at your own pace! Let me know if you’ve been reading anything fun in the comments!
