Top Ten Tuesday: Book Covers that Remind Me of Fall

This Top Ten Tuesday was a bit of a challenge. I’m not the type of person to read books based on seasons. With Halloween coming up, some might be more apt to read thriller/horror books, but I’m just like, “Meh,” lol.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Books on My Fall TBR

If you know me at all, you know I’m horrible at TBRs. Mainly because I’m like, “Oh my god, look at all the fall releases. Must read them now!” and then proceed to request them all from my local library. 🤣  But the thing is, I have so many unread books on my shelves (but then again, what bookworm doesn’t?), and so a while back I made a TBR Jar, which is nothing more than a mason jar I filled with rolled slips of paper of all the unread books on my own shelves. Well, that’s been going semi-well.

Since I started it, I’ve actually managed to read books and get rid of the ones I don’t like (either by selling them or giving them away via my Twitter). That’s a miracle and of itself, I tell you, lol. 😛 So the books mentioned here aren’t necessarily ~fall~ themed but rather, just books I’m really need to read. Screw the TBR Jar, I suppose?!

Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Older Books I Love

I think I’ve done a fair job keeping up with recent releases, but sometimes there are just some older books that I picked up and loved. I thought that since this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a throwback freebie, I’d talk about some of those books. Now, it may have been a while since I’ve read the books, but I’m featuring them because 1) I really ought to reread them and maybe this will push me to do it and 2) I distinctly remembering falling in love with them.

Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Recs for Those on the Fence about YA Contemporary

Top Ten Tuesday has been on a hiatus ever since Jamie at The Broke and the Bookish has been on maternity leave. But I’m glad to be back with the themes, and I’m really excited to share this one with you. The overall topic is “10 Book Recommendations for _________” and you can insert whatever you want. I decided to go with YA contemporaries since I used to not read them at all. But over the past year or so, I’ve definitely read some great ones, and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you! 🙂

Top Ten Tuesday: Series I’ve Been Meaning to Start…but Haven’t.

lol Isn’t this all of us? One of the main reasons I’m always hesitant to start series is that most of them have a lot of hype surrounding them, and what if they don’t live up to my expectations? That’s a constant source of worry for me as I read any series. Haha.

Anyway, here are 10 I’ve been meaning to start but…well, haven’t!

Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Most Anticipated Books for the 2nd Half of 2017

I can’t believe we’re nearly halfway through 2017! How? Where did time go? I always ask myself those questions, but never have sufficient answers. 😛

There was a similar post to this one a few months ago. It isn’t quite the end of June, so I haven’t read some of them, but I’m proud to say I have read a handful of them! XD So here’s what the later half of 2017 has in store…

Top Ten Tuesday: Fandom Freebie!

Ah, another topic I’m excited to write about! I think we’re all part of fandoms, whether it’s in books, movies, TV shows, games, etc. I love the community it creates, and that sense of closeness we have with people even though we may have never met in person.

This is going to be a hodge podge of things from my earliest fandoms to my absolutely favorites ones. 🙂
