Well, another month gone!

Oddly enough February was a decent reading month for me. A huge winter storm hit where I love, shutting down so many things, my office included. So I was home for two weeks and got a decent amount of reading done.

January ’21 Wrap-up & Book Haul

The first month of 2021 is over! January was a fun month for me simply because it was my birthday, and I like to celebrate all month long! 😛 In terms of a reading month, it was slow. After a long holiday break, I returned to work and it took a bit to get back into the routine.

I also “beat” Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and started playing Overcooked! 2 on Nintendo Switch, so my time hasn’t wholly been dedicated to books, hehe.

Favorite and Disappointing Books of 2020 (+ 2021 Reading Goal)

We’re basically halfway through January already. How weird. 2021 feels like an out-of-body experience, lol.

Anyway, that’s not the reason you came to my blog. 🤣 I love doing monthly wrap-ups, so an entire yearly one just sounds like loads of fun. It’s a good way for me to take a step back and really see how much I did read and enjoy in the previous year.

December ’20 Wrap-up and Book Haul!

If I haven’t said it yet, Happy New Year and welcome to 2021! I was on holiday break for 2.5 weeks and spent a lot of time trying to catch up on my Goodreads reading goal (but I didn’t reach it). Because of that, I’m pretty sure I read more books last month than any other months in 2020.

A special shoutout to historical romance and new adult romance for helping me reach that goal, LOL. (As you’ll soon see.)

Also, apparently I didn’t do a wrap-up and book haul for November… So… oops! Sorry if you were looking forward to that.

Whew, we made it to the last two months of 2020!

In terms of reading, October was a pretty average and usual month. So let’s just get to it, shall we?

Another month gone! Just three more months and we’ll be out of this crazy year that is 2020.

September was a slower reading month for me than usual. I fell into a bit of a reading slump, and didn’t want to do much outside of watch Netflix. 😝

I meant to post this last week but alas, work became busy and I didn’t want to do anything when I came home but become a couch potato. 😎

I think August was a pretty good month in terms of reading. The book haul wasn’t too bad either! And yes, I did actually buy books this month, lol!

July ’20 Wrap-up and Book Haul!

Happy August, everyone! I hope the past month has treated you well despite all the craziness in the world. For me, I’ve transitioned going back to the work full-time, so instead of working from home I’m now commuting back and forth to work. To be honest the transition has been hard, but being back into a daily routine is going well.

June ’20 Wrap-up and (No) Book Haul!

Yay, we made it through the first half of 2020! To say it’s not gone as people expected would probably be an understatement. 😅 But hey, at least it’s all down from here.

I felt like June was really slow, but was surprised to see I’ve read a total of 6 books. I really thought it was less. Not that it matters really… I’m still on track to finish my goal of reading 100 books this year.
