Yay! So I’m back to regular blogging now that NaNoWriMo is over! I’m currently working on a non-bookish post about my progress with NaNoWriMo and other things so keep an eye out for that soon!

Gosh, guys, I can’t believe it’s December already! I know people say that all the time but seriously, it’s almost Christmas! This makes me both excited and shocked that 2016 went by so quickly. But with the passing of December also comes January and… My birthday! I’ll be 28 in a little over a month. That’s crazy to think about to.

I Met Leigh Bardugo and *fangirl*!

Ah! Finally time to write about another lovely and wonderful author meet!

If you haven’t been keeping up, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to meet Sabaa Tahir, Sarah J. Maas, and Leigh Bardugo all within a three week timespan last month. I wrote about all those experience and now I’ll conclude with Leigh. It’s sad but amazing at the same time because these three authors were within a 2 hour vicinity and how can you not?!

Review: “Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows #2)” by Leigh Bardugo

Oh my stars, guys, where do I even begin?

I fell in love with Six of Crows when I read it back in July. Yes, I waited a bit to read it but I’d heard nothing but amazing things. It was a hyped book and it was brilliant. Unlike any book I’ve read before, taking me back into the familiar world I left in the Grisha trilogy.

Crooked Kingdom was one of my most anticipated books for September. Knowing Six of Crows was only a duology was hard to swallow but Bardugo’s writing matured greatly from the Grisha trilogy and I was pleased see that.

But this review isn’t about the Grisha trilogy or Six of Crows, it’s about Crooked Kingdom and the fact that I cried. Seriously. Not many books make me cry but this one did.
