January ’21 Wrap-up & Book Haul

The first month of 2021 is over! January was a fun month for me simply because it was my birthday, and I like to celebrate all month long! 😛 In terms of a reading month, it was slow. After a long holiday break, I returned to work and it took a bit to get back into the routine.

I also “beat” Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and started playing Overcooked! 2 on Nintendo Switch, so my time hasn’t wholly been dedicated to books, hehe.

January ’20 Wrap-up & Book Haul!

We made it! We survived the first month of 2020 and let me tell you, it felt looooooong. Please tell me I’m not the only one who thought this? It felt like there were 60 days in January! Seriously!

Anyway, I set my Goodreads goal to 100 books for 2020. I didn’t quite make it last year, but I have higher hopes this year. So far, I think we’re off to a great start (even though Goodreads already tells me I’m 1 book behind schedule).

January ’19 Wrap-up and Book Haul!

Look at me doing wrap-up and book haul posts two months in a row! 😱 I’m trying to be better, really I am, lol!

January was my birthday month (I turned 30! 😱), and while I thought I would go wild during the month I was surprisingly tame. Most of the books I received were gifts, from giveaways, or publishers (okay, 1 book was from a publisher 🙊). As for the wrap-up… Again fairly tame. I finished Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey last month, and while I still have Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee to play, I’m taking a break which means I have more free time to read (now whether I actually hunker down to read is the better question… 🤔).

Enough of my babble!

January 2018 Wrap-Up & Book Haul!

What a fun beginning to the new year! I can’t believe January is already over! I felt like it just started!

Anyway, this was a fun month for me. I celebrated my 29th birthday by buying books! Okay, well, I bought myself one book and the rest were bought with gift cards or were given to me as gifts! And I actually surprised myself by reading my normal average number of books. I doubt I’ll do so well the rest of the months due to personal issues and a general hiatus I plan on taking (more on that in a later post).
