August ’19 Wrap-up and Book Haul (+ an Unhaul)

Hello, friends! Another month has come to an end. We’re in the last stretch of 2019. The days aren’t sweltering hot anymore, I’ve already burned a pumpkin-scented candle and had my first taste of the seasonal drinks at Starbucks. I’m dreaming about autumn as I type this… *sigh*

Like last month, August was another good reading month for me. The fact that I’m not reviewing in-depth every single book I read has helped a lot. I did have a lot of ARCs and eARCS for August, so I definitely reviewed those individually (which I will link below).

Top 10 Tuesday: Books That Need a Sequel

Meeting the Author: Laini Taylor || MUSE OF NIGHTMARES Tour!

Going to see Laini Taylor was a bit of a whim. I’m currently transitioning jobs (my last day is today!), and I said I wouldn’t go unless I got this new job. Laini was in the Dallas area, which is a 3.5 hour drive as well.

Needless to say, I did get the job, and I did go see Laini Taylor as part of her Muse of Nightmares book tour. 🙂 It was a lot of fun, and I met a few people there as well, which really made it well worth it.
