Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Recs for Those on the Fence about YA Contemporary

Top Ten Tuesday has been on a hiatus ever since Jamie at The Broke and the Bookish has been on maternity leave. But I’m glad to be back with the themes, and I’m really excited to share this one with you. The overall topic is “10 Book Recommendations for _________” and you can insert whatever you want. I decided to go with YA contemporaries since I used to not read them at all. But over the past year or so, I’ve definitely read some great ones, and I wanted to share some of my favorites with you! 🙂

February 2017 Wrap-Up!

This is a few days late but hey, at least I did it! Normally I just forget or get too caught up with actual life, and end up–well, not doing it at all, lol.

February was a decent month for me. I tried to get through some books by authors I went to see at the North Texas Teen Book Festival (post about that coming soon) this past weekend, and I think I did all right.

Review: “Everything, Everything” by Nicola Yoon

Wow, what a quick read. I seriously didn’t expect to finish this book as quick as I did, but alas, here I am, lol. Truthfully, this book has been on my radar since I first heard rave reviews a few months back. I saw it everywhere on #bookstagram, and then to see that it’s being turned into a movie (check out the trailer!), and the author will also be at the North Texas Teen Book Festival. I decided it was time to finally pick up this book.
