I’m really falling off the blog train here, but I wanted to post this week’s T10T post because I really like this topic. But I’m also doing a twist and mentioning some I know I would absolutely never survive in. 🙃

Continue readingWe all have our own unique opinion on what makes a good book adaptation. I don’t watch a lot of TV (I don’t have cable), but I do have a few streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. However, I find myself sinking into a book rather than a TV show and surely I’m not the only one?
I will say that once the pandemic started and I was working from home, I binged a show called “Call the Midwife” since it was available on Netflix. I don’t regret it because the show is so good.
Anyway, we’re not here to talk about my personal TV habits (as Isabelle from Animal Crossing remind us).
Continue readingOh my goodness, where do I even begin? My anticipation for this book was raw and pure joy. I think I did a fine job for myself by pre-ordering it as a birthday gift, considering it released the day before my birthday, lol. The book gods and Pierce Brown have blessed me tenfold and more.
I’m on my first day of a two week Christmas vacation, and I could not be more excited! I’m spending it with my lovely BFF (Calye–go give her a follow!) and we’re making gingerbread houses and working on our own WIPs. 🙂 And I am especially excited to talk about this week’s WoW post because… Well, I just can’t wait for it to release!
I’ve always been an avid reader, but I wasn’t much of a collector. That is, until I joined the lovely community of readers on Instagram (also commonly referred to as #bookstagram and #bookstagrammers). I joined over 2 years ago, and wow, it’s been a great way to connect with other readers and to see how seriously talented photographers fellow bibliophiles are!
Anyway, I thought this was a fun topic because there are so many books I’ve picked up since I’ve seen them on Instagram–definitely some I would have never bothered to read otherwise!

Oh my word, this topic! 😍 We always talk about our favorite romances, but we all know we’re fans of adorably platonic bromances! Count me in!

Yay! So I’m back to regular blogging now that NaNoWriMo is over! I’m currently working on a non-bookish post about my progress with NaNoWriMo and other things so keep an eye out for that soon!
Gosh, guys, I can’t believe it’s December already! I know people say that all the time but seriously, it’s almost Christmas! This makes me both excited and shocked that 2016 went by so quickly. But with the passing of December also comes January and… My birthday! I’ll be 28 in a little over a month. That’s crazy to think about to.
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Technically, this is supposed to be “books I read because someone outside of the book community recommended it to me.” Truthfully, I don’t know a lot of people I read so no one’s really recommending series to me… I picked up so many books due to starting a bookstagram a little over a year ago. Without that community, I wouldn’t have picked up half of the books I currently love.

So today’s TTT is all things audio. I could do 10 favorite audiobooks, albums, songs, bands, podcasts, whatever really. I’m going to focus on audiobooks. They don’t seem to get enough love but all the ones I’ve listened to are so good! And they really do a great job filling up the drive to and from work and home for me.
Ah, I can’t believe this series is over! It’s been a long and good ride. A series I wasn’t sure I would enjoy because of the genre but I ended up loving it and so glad I did read it. I’m excited that Brown is writing another series in the same world (Iron Gold is expected to release sometime next year).
I tried to do a spoiler-free review but I may have gotten carried away. No .gifs this time though! XD
