Happy New Year! It’s officially 2019! How wild!
I always feel nostalgic looking back at the previous year, even more so since I feel like a lot happened in my personal life, too. Husband and I bought a house, I got a new job, I became an aunt for the third time (but my first nephew!)… So yeah. 🙂 Anyway, that’s not why y’all came here is it? To read about how sappy I am! lol

Technically, today’s Top 5 Wednesday post is supposed to be about books that feature road trips, but to be honest, I can’t really think of a lot that fit the topic. Instead I decided to feature books that take place during summer vacation in general.
Today’s my last week of summer vacation. Next week I hit the ground running at work after 4 weeks off! I figured it’s a good way to reminisce about my own time off. 🙂

Maurene captured my half-Korean heart with her sophomore novel, I Believe in a Thing Called Love, so there was no question I was eager for The Way You Make Me Feel. I even posted about the cover reveal a few months ago, and have been eager and hopeful for an ARC of some kind.

So…I thought I did one of these for April, but I was quite wrong. LOL Anyway, instead of making these weekly, I figured a monthly post was better. 🙂 I know it’s not quite May yet but next week, it’ll already be the 2nd!

Hello, all! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas (if you celebrate) and a very happy holidays! I skipped posting a blog on Christmas Day for obvious reasons, but I’m back on schedule with a delightful post featuring some of the books I’m looking forward to in 2018! (I still can’t believe we’re only 4 days away from the new year!
