Top 10 Tuesday: My 10 Favorite Quotes from The Winner’s Trilogy

TTT-Big2
A weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

I wanted to do my own little twist on today’s Top 10 Tuesday post, which is a general “favorite quotes” post.

Y’all know how much I love The Winner’s Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. I reread the series at least once a year, and every time I find something new about the books to enjoy. With the release of Rutkoski’s next book, Fall Like Thieves, next year (January 2020) which is set in the same universe as The Winner’s Trilogy, I thought it would be so fun to do this. 🙂

If you haven’t read the series, this post will most likely contain spoilers, so please read at your own risk.

Top 5 Wednesday: Characters on the Naughty List

I think I’ve done something fairly similar… Or maybe when I see this topic, all I can think about are villains? (I did make a Top 10 Tuesday post about villains a while back…) But I supposed this list could focus on general crappy characters, not necessarily villains.

So let’s do this!

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly blog meme started on Goodreads. You can check out the group and the topics here.

Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite Minor Characters

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly blog meme started on Goodreads. You can check out (and join!) the group here!

Today’s topic is Favorite Minor Character, which some consider not the same as side characters. Truthfully, I’ve never really given it much thought. I think my mind just simple stuffs not main characters as side/minor characters. Anyway, I won’t think too hard on it and neither should you (unless you have some strong opinions about it, which feel free to leave a comment about it!).

Top Ten Tuesday: All about the Villains!

Top Ten Tuesday is a book blog meme created by The Broke and The Bookish. Today’s theme is villains and can be anything ranging from top ten favorite/most compelling villains in books, top ten of the most vile villains/bad guys in books, top ten villains I secretly (or not so secretly) love, favorite tv villains, favorite comic book villains, ten “villains” of contemporary lit.

I think I’ll do a hodgepodge because I’ve actually never done a post about villains or even considered them for a long time so here goes!

Top Ten Tuesday: My ALL TIME Favorite Books of YA Fantasy

Omg, this is so hard, where do I even begin?! I thought about doing just fantasy but the truth is, I don’t read a lot of non-YA fantasy. YA is my go-to genre in everything so I though I at least could do myself a favor (!!!) by picking fantasy as my sub-genre! Still difficult though because there’s so many good ones! Ahhhhhh.

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish. Don’t forget to leave your TTT and I’ll check it out! 🙂

A few of my favorite things… (Part 1)

And by things, I mean books.

Also, did anyone else find themselves humming to the song from “The Sound of Music.” If not, here you go!

I’ve been struggling trying to figure out what to post about since I’m slacking when it comes to reading. Work has been busy and all I want to do when I come home is sleep. But that’s after I cook dinner, do some laundry, and take the dog out, lol.

Anyways, I decided to do a set of blog posts on some of my favorite books. I’m starting this one about some of my favorite YA book series! I’m so excited to talk about it! 😀 ❤

March’s Most Anticipated Release!

Guys. It’s March. (Well, it’s halfway through March but…) Not only does that that bring the  spring season, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter, it also brings this…

The Winner's Kiss

The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski, the final book in The Winner’s Curse trilogy!

And you know what? My heart can’t handle it. I’m on the edge of my seat in anticipation, and I’m pretty sure my heart will explode, and all the feels will happen. It’s true. I unashamedly gave the first book 4 stars, and the second one a 5-star rating which I rarely give but The Winner’s Crime was flawless. Truth.

I read this series last year, and loved it. Truthfully, there aren’t many series I fall head over heels for, but this is one of them. The covers are gorgeous!
