Top 10 Tuesday: Books That Ought to Be on Screen

TTT-Big2

A weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Initially, I started this post as a “Books to Movies” theme, but the more I thought about it, the more I think so many good books would make great TV series, too, because I feel like TV series has the chance to explore the characters and story more.

Top 10 Tuesday: My 10 Favorite Quotes from The Winner’s Trilogy

TTT-Big2
A weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

I wanted to do my own little twist on today’s Top 10 Tuesday post, which is a general “favorite quotes” post.

Y’all know how much I love The Winner’s Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. I reread the series at least once a year, and every time I find something new about the books to enjoy. With the release of Rutkoski’s next book, Fall Like Thieves, next year (January 2020) which is set in the same universe as The Winner’s Trilogy, I thought it would be so fun to do this. 🙂

If you haven’t read the series, this post will most likely contain spoilers, so please read at your own risk.

T5W: (SFF) Book Series I Always Recommend

This is a spin on the actual topic which is “Books to Give _______ as Gifts.” The blank can be filled in with whatever you want… “Books to Give Parents as Gifts.” “Books to Give a Hufflepuff as Gifts,” etc. I wanted to do this spin because when people are asking for recommendations, I almost always recommend the following books. With Christmas around the corner, it’s really the perfect time to give them all as gifts!

I think I’ve done something fairly similar… Or maybe when I see this topic, all I can think about are villains? (I did make a Top 10 Tuesday post about villains a while back…) But I supposed this list could focus on general crappy characters, not necessarily villains.

So let’s do this!

Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite Minor Characters

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly blog meme started on Goodreads. You can check out (and join!) the group here!

Today’s topic is Favorite Minor Character, which some consider not the same as side characters. Truthfully, I’ve never really given it much thought. I think my mind just simple stuffs not main characters as side/minor characters. Anyway, I won’t think too hard on it and neither should you (unless you have some strong opinions about it, which feel free to leave a comment about it!).
