I didn’t know what to think of this book when I first went into it. After reading Schwab’s A Darker Shade of Magic, which everyone raved about but I just found meh, I started This Savage Song with hesitation. But I loved it, and my heart hurt when I found out it was only a duology. However, Our Dark Duet didn’t disappoint!

Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Books I’m Looking Forward to in the First Half of 2017

Omg, such a hard decision because there are so many good ones! But thankfully, I only have to focus on the first half. 😉

This is a mix of debut authors, sequels, and well-seasoned authors but all of them sound truly amazing! I can’t wait to get my hands on all of them, and thanks to my local library who has done a fantastic job getting newly released YA books, I won’t have to spend a fortune! ^_^ Continue reading

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

Because I have been in such a book slump lately, I don’t have a review to post. 😦

But I can tell you what I’m reading. I’ve been looking for ways to post more and I came across this website which has a master list of book blogging-related memes. I thought it’d be nice to jazz up my blog a bit more, outside of just reviews and stuff, although I do love writing those too. 🙂

June & July’s Most Anticipated Releases!

I decided to combine June and July because I’m honestly only anticipating one novel in June so I thought I’d skim through July’s list and maybe come up with some more. 🙂 I’ve just included books that sounded interesting to me so these aren’t all the book that relates in June & July (that would be incredibly long XD ).

I don’t normally buy books right when they’re released (with two exceptions being The Winner’s Kiss and The Raven King because how can you not?). I actually might wait until the local library gets them or if I have a coupon or something that offers a decent % off, I’ll buy it. That’s probably unlike what most people do but when adulting gets in the way, sometimes it’s better just to be an adult.
