Top 10 Tuesday: Books I Wanted More Of

This theme might seem a bit vague but my interpretation is this: I immediately read a book and wanted more of either: 1) books within the same universe, 2) books by the same author, or 3) books with the same theme (i.e. enemies-to-lovers, childhood friends-to-lovers, dark fantasy, or the like).

ARC Review: “Wicked Fox” by Kat Cho

Wicked Fox is one of my most anticipated releases of 2019. When I managed to pick-up an ARC from the North Texas Teen Book Festival earlier this year, I was absolutely thrilled. And I’m really glad to report that this book is wonderful–everything I could have wanted in a book set in Seoul, dealing with Korean folklore, and just a true ode to my culture.

‘Waiting on’ Wednesday: June ’19 Releases

Wow, wow, wow, is it that time already? It’s almost June which means the year is half way over. Holy smokes! When did that happen? In terms of new book releases, I feel like the summer is a bit of a slow month. Of course, that isn’t a bad thing but for me, summer is this languorous time of the year where everything sort of just stops…and maybe we breathe for a bit. It’s nice. 🙂 It’ll also be my first time in nearly four years that I haven’t had a summer vacation from work (since I got a new job and all last October).

‘Waiting on’ Wednesday (WoW) is a book blog meme hosted by Breaking the Spine. It’s really easy to participate: all you have to do is feature upcoming books you’re excited about–it doesn’t necessarily have to release the next month. But for my own sanity, I try to feature books month-by-month.
