That’s right! I’m back again with another review for another Christina Lauren book. And…tbh, I’m not made about it because this book was good.

Continue readingHappy Monday, friends! (Can a Monday be happy anymore? Was it ever happy? Anyway.) I’m back after a small holiday hiatus! In an attempt to try to get as close to my Goodreads reading goal (100 books!) as possible, I decided it to pick up new adult romances, which I usually read so quickly. So over the weekend, I borrowed this book from the library and managed to finish it. Shocker, I know. I didn’t think I’d do it.

This was a quick and easy read that I managed to finish with a day. I was eager to read a sexier NA romance because the two I’ve read previously simply failed to deliver there. While yes, this definitely was a bit more hot and heavy than the others, I still wanted more.
Continue readingYeah… I have no regrets about reading this book over the course of two days. It was an absolute delight. I really enjoyed The Bromance Book Club but heard some reservations about Undercover Bromance. However, I didn’t let that affect how I read the book or my rating. I absolutely LOVED this one.

I’m still on my NA romance kick, and have a few eARCs to read and review. I don’t even remember how this book came on my radar. I think I may have just been browsing NetGalley and thought this sounded good. Pleasant surprise! It was!
Thank you to Berkley Publishing Group for giving me a free digital copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Hi, friends! I’m writing up this blog post because it really hits my fancy. While I’m still devouring YA to no end (seriously, I am still waiting on Sorcery of Thorns as an audiobook from my library. Does this mean I should read my physical copy? LOL), I’ve dove into a fair amount of NA (New Adult) romance these past few weeks.
I turned 30 this year, and while I continually adore YA, my pull to NA lately made me wonder why. Not that I need to justify what I’m reading, but I think it comes down to me not finding these books when I was younger. I think back then I simply didn’t know where to look or how to go about looking (and hello, religion, for twisting my thoughts about certain things).
Anyway, I want to share the recent NA books I’ve been reading and supply some (very small) reviews for them.
This book wasn’t what I expected. I mean that in both a good and semi-good way, I promise.
Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for giving me a free, digital copy in exchange for an honest review.
Thank you to the author, Stormy Smith, for personally sending me an free physical ARC in exchange for an honest review. She also sent some swag and items that revolved around the story. 🙂 I’ll post a full picture of the items after the review.
I prepared for a barrage of comments about my review for this book because… Well, I was rather underwhelmed with this book. Yes, it was better than A Court of Thorns and Roses but I wasn’t falling out of my seat in anticipation. Truthfully, there were times this book dragged on. I mean, it’s over 600 pages!
Well, here goes. *hides under a table*
I did! I caved in (like usually) and read this incredibly hyped book that I’ve heard nothing but amaze-balls things about!
And guess what?
I liked it but it didn’t live up to the hype. 😦 Sure, it was great! Maas writes a great story, don’t get me wrong! I love her Throne of Glass series so to read another series by her, of course I was excited! But to be honest, I wasn’t blown away by this book and for me, it didn’t live up to the hype. *hides under the table*
