February has come and gone and I really can’t believe it. January seemed to last forever, but February sure did pass on by quickly! But despite the shorter month, my wrap-up and book haul are both equally exciting. 🙂
First, we have the wrap-up in no particular order:
White Stag by Kara Barbieri (eARC) – ★★ 1/2
Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo – ★★★★
The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty – ★★★★
One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake – ★★★★
Dark of the West by Joanna Hathaway (ARC) – ★★★★
Enchantée by Gita Trelease (eARC) – ★★ 1/2
As always, you can click the titles to read my (non-spoiler) reviews for each of the books.
I’m surprised I had so many 4 star reads this month! I loved all of them for different reasons, but my favorites are Dark of the West and The City of Brass. They were such intense reads that I really had no other choice but to give them 4 stars!
Enchantée was definitely my most disappointing read of the month. There are so many things I wanted to like about it (and I do like to an extent), but the slow pacing made this book a pain to get through.
Now onto the book haul…
Some of these I bought with leftover gift cards, others I got through trades, and a few were from a sale. Nevertheless, I am super excited about all of them! With Always and Forever, Lara Jean I now own the entire trilogy in hardback. With Muse of Nightmares I have this orange-sprayed edges edition to match my FairyLoot blue-sprayed edition. These little things please me to no end. 🙂
If you ever wonder what I’m up to, you can always find me on my various social medias. I try to post often on Instagram, which is where I post about my book hauls and wrap-ups first.
